“Hello!
I will also share my experience with Medicover.
On the evening of the 4th, the amniotic fluid broke, at home just barely, we consulted over the phone and finally agreed to go in for a ctg. Most of it broke in the examination room, it was quite a surreal experience for me, what with my first baby 😅
I got a room, we ended up choosing a room with one bed, because the midwife said there was no point in choosing a family room, because nothing would happen at night anyway, dad should go home to rest, so we shouldn’t pay extra.
There wasn’t much change by the morning, I didn’t dilate at all, so I got a balloon. At 2 o’clock in the afternoon, they told us to go down to the delivery room, and then get some oxy, because the balloon only cause a dilation the size of a finger.
The balloon popped around 5, after which they increased the oxy, the pains came for about a minute apart, but the dilation was still only three fingers’ worth. There was a shift change at around 7, then a doctor examined me and told me that she sees a chance for the baby to be born naturally, but she can’t say how long and she’s a little worried that the amniotic fluid has been breaking for 24 hours, but let’s discuss everything with my partner, they support our decision.
We decided on Caesarean in the end, because I was completely out of it. In half an hour, a team assembled like woow, everyone was very nice, I would like to highlight the anesthesiologist, he was a real angel. They kept telling me what was going on, they caressed me, and I got a little water in a syringe. Our little girl was out in about 5 minutes. With her father, they went out, arranged the baby nicely, then brought her back to me for a couple of minutes, but not for long, because it was cold in the operating room. Then, after they took me up to the room, we were together for another two hours. They showed dad everything, they were very nice, they even took a picture of us in the operating room 😊
It turned out afterwards that we made the right decision with the Caesarean, because the baby’s face was facing upside.
I spent 4 nights there, we bought the basic package and didn’t have to pay a forint more. Everyone was very nice among the baby nurses. Doctors and midwives are all nice, I can’t say a single negative experience.
I highly recommend Medicover to everyone.
If there will ever be a little sister, we would definitely come here again 😊”
